Dan Kopitzke, President, Founder, CEO
(and most importantly - Instructor)
Dan has been involved in instruction and coaching since 1998. He began his baseball career in Michigan at the age of 8. At the age of 12, he played in the Little League World Series, where he was the first left-handed catcher in World Series history.
This was just the first of many successes for Dan in Baseball. After an All-State High School and Division 1 College baseball career where he played with Major Leaguers such as John Smoltz and Jim Abbott, he began coaching and has been involved in youth athletics, molding young minds ever since. He has traveled to Puerto Rico to share his knowledge with the young stars of tomorrow and works with Coach Wolforth during the Elite Pitchers boot Camps, in Texas.
Dan is a true student of the game. He draws not only upon his own experience, but is constantly studying and applying the latest research in baseball, athletic training, biomechanics and learning methods. With a unique blend of mental and physical training and comprehensive objective measurements, he enables players of all ages to develop their abilities to their fullest potential. The impact Dan has on his students is a function not only of this expertise, but also of his authentic passion for helping these young men go far beyond the limits they thought they had, both physically and mentally.
Dan currently plays in the MSBL – Mens Senior Baseball League- as a Carolina Brewer. He has amassed 6 no-hitters, and over 700 strike outs averaging over 12 per game while compiling a 45-11 record. He led the nation in strikeouts in 2008 which included a 19k performance and has maintained top 5 status for the past 6 years.
Dan is uniquely talented and qualified to provide you with the most comprehensive instruction available.
