What better way to prepare for game live pitching than to practice your batting against live pitching?
The closer you can simulate the game environment in practice, the more effective your practice becomes.
In our live BP you will improve your timing, tracking of the ball, hit real baseballs from real pitchers (including Coach Dan!). You will see different pitches; fastball, curveball, changeup, etc. from multiple arm angles in many locations.
At the end of each session, the hitters are divided into two teams and compete against each other just like they would in a real game with real situations and real counts...forcing them to make game like adjustments. Try that with a pitching machine!
LIVE PITCHING
This is the equivalent of live batting practice for batters. Pitch against hitters (virtual major league hitters) and see how effective you are.
It's second and third with two outs and Derek Jeter is at the plate. What will you throw him? Get him out and you win the game!
You will pitch a simulated game with real counts, real situations against hitters that will make you pay for your mistakes. No need to find a mound and then try to convince your buddy to catch your bullpen.
Transform your boring bullpens into exciting games that will sharpen your pitching skills while having fun. The more you enjoy it, the more you will do it, and the better you will get.
Games are scheduled in 1/2 hour blocks with two pitchers per block. Each pitcher will throw approximately 3 innings (sometimes more, it will depend on how long the innings last).
You can also reserve the Virtual Catcher and schedule your own game for $30/hour. Call or email for details
some testimonials from the LIVE BP:
“I wanted to let you know how valuable we found the live pitching session to be the other day--both my sons showed real improvement just in the one hour they were at the Kzone. As you know, most kids don't get to see enough live pitches in their baseball practices, but in one session with you the boys saw as many pitches as they will see in an entire season. It is fantastic that you can throw pitches from a little league level up through the college level, which allows players of all levels to participate in the sessions.”

“Matt loved it. Said he hasn't faced a lefty that could throw even close to hard or who had a good sweeping breaking ball…tough to read. Not just throwing batting practice speed...said it felt like you were throwing an adjusted 80 or so…seemed like you were trying to go in and out on him and not just down the middle while also throwing mostly strikes. He liked being able to get in some tee time too. There was just enough time to rest but still get in a good number of swings. Liked the idea of a game at the end... including a pitch count."

“Bailey really enjoyed the live BP last Sunday. He said that he liked the format where he was able to decide what kind of pitches that he wanted to see and also the ability to work the count. He also liked the game mode which he said added some excitement to the session."

“Great Hitting from Live BP tonight. It should prove VERY helpful to Hunter in games on Wed and Thu this week!...Your thoughts on using a "real arm" vs a machine makes a lot of sense...”

"Nathaniel thought it was an enjoyable while productive evening of live batting with the flexibility to see different pitches. The ability to see various pitches at the K-Zone provides significant value compared to the limitations of a pitching machine. For $15 each player is able to realize the value with each visit seeing at least 100 pitches of their choice compared to similar costs at a batting cage that gives only 20 balls per token
The individualized coaching, personal development and group dynamics are some of the intangibles at the K-Zone."

"He's like a kid at a carnival - he can't get enough. He's tried out every bat and he hasn't hit this much since he started the season!"
