TESTIMONIALS

"Reid is so much stronger and sure of himself,  we couldn't thank you enough for his improvement and the work ethic that you seem to instill in these young men - pure magic!  Keep up the good work and as always, thank you for your time and dedication." -Dawn W.

"I want to let you know how happy I am with Kevin’s progress after the summer sessions. He has improved his flexibility big time and gotten very physically strong, but the part that I'm most impressed with in the program is how he has grown mentally. I’ll put it this way, before the program he was just a little boy that wanted  to get better at baseball. After the program he is a more mature teenager and he is more committed about the game of baseball.Thanks"-Gus G.

"John had a great day yesterday and loved the class.  Thanks very much for the thought and care you clearly put into the class.  John has grown a great deal under your coaching." -Karen M.

"Wednesday night has become Jesse's favorite night of the week.  He's gone from fairly average to one of the best players on his team in the last 8 weeks.  Thank you so much.

"The difference you make to the students at K-Zone is a function of both your extensive expertise in developing baseball performance and in your authentic passion for helping these young men go beyond the limits of what they think they can do.  Thank you for all the work you had to do to develop it in yourself and then for sharing it! All the best." Dan M.

"Dan:
Just a quick update.......spent some time at the cage hitting off a tee using the drills and also hitting at 55mph to work on technique from a machine.  By the second session Sunday, was hitting 80% to right side, which is where I was aiming.  NOt perfect contact, but decidely better.  Had a nice revalation ....better balance, better power, able to adjust up and down better. Things are making sense and I have a more comfortable feeling at the plate."-JP

.......... is a link to a baseball academy located in Apex which is excellent!  If you want to go to the next level and perform well, I suggest you take a look at what Dr. Dan has got to offer (I refer to Dan Kopitzke as Dr. Dan because he knows his baseball and it is my nickname for him).I can totally vouch for Dr. Dan, he is an excellent instructor and great with kids.  I personally played beyond college for a short time. When I accidently ran into the K-Zone with my older son and saw what it has to offer - well all I have to say is I sure wish Dr. Dan was around when I was younger. "-George B.

**What did RON WOLFORTH have to say about his experience at KZone Academy?**

"I travel and speak all over the country. I consult for 19 diferent Academies, 2 different MLB organizations, 7 DI programs and advise literally hundreds of High School, Junior College and DI, DII and DIII Universities. Over the past 5 years I have been invited to 10 different Spring Trainings, had 41 of my athletes drafted and over 80 reach the 90mph plateau. You could say I see it ALL. The good, the bad and the ugly.

Dan Kopitzke and the K-Zone in Apex NC..is in the top 5% of all that I see in the USA in pitching instruction. Bottom line....Dan 'gets it'. He understands the connection between athleticism, mechanical efficiency, mobility/flexibility, functional & skill specific strength, scapular health and strength balance...and nutrition/rest/recovery...and how it relates to enhancing or improving the performance of those in his charge.

The ultimate compliment I can ever give an instructor is 1) to invite him to assist me at the Texas Baseball Ranch in our Elite Pitchers Boot Camps and 2) That if I lived in the area...my 11 year old son would train there if I was away. Both are true of Dan. There are less than 20 people in the world I would allow to actually train my son. One is Brent Strom the special pitching coordinator for the St. Louis Cardinals, one is Flint Wallace the former pitching Coach at TCU and current pitching coach for JC powerhouse Weatherford College...and one is Dan Kopitzke. So Dan may not be in a class by himself...but it sure doesn't take long to call roll.

On top of Dan's skills, the K-Zone and Dan are lucky to have such wonderful administrative support as the beautiful and gracious Natalie. Her warmth and sincere desire to help and support the process was almost as impressive as Dan's teaching skills. Together they make a great team. In today's uncertain society, full of contradictions and irresponsibility, it is very important to surround your young man with good solid people. Possibly nothing could be more important than that. Dan & Natalie are wonderful in that regard. I highly reccomend, Dan, Natalie and the K-Zone."

 "Dan,
Andrew really enjoyed attending Tuesday's session, and I was impressed with your emphasis on overall athleticism and developing sport specific movements.  The right approach, in my humble opinion, for sustainable skill development."-DM

"Dan,
Thanks for the info and the good coaching.  Matt was “stupid good” this past weekend.  His stats were off the charts.  He will have to tell you on Friday.  I could tell you but it would be too much like bragging.  Thanks," -MD

"Great job Dan, the video is excellent and on point."-  KF

"I am not affiliated, at all and in no fashion, with Dr. Dan and K-Zone.  As ya'll know I love the game of baseball and when I see somebody teaching it well and the way it should be from a physical/basics/mental approach, well, I feel I should pass it on. "-George B.

"Dan,

Matt  pitched extremely well this past weekend (I will let him give you the details).  So well, that I would expect him to pitch this coming weekend ...Matt’s pitching has gotten noticed by at least 2-3 guys from his team and they have or should be contacting you soon.

Thank you for the great work with Matt." -MD

"You ran a terrific camp”. The Pitcher's Boot camp introduced the concepts and training techniques that have proven effective in developing more complete and healthy pitchers. Over the course of the three day camp, players were taught the essential elements that should lead to greater velocity, improved core body strength, and increased flexibility. The players also learned proper arm care in order to reduce the chance of injury.
The camp integrated the why and the how. First, the players learned the reasons for the various training and then they went through the drills. The sessions were well designed and blended the right amount of learning and doing.  Coach Dan, I thought you nailed it. Timmy and Brian were invigorated and sore by Sunday afternoon. The boys had a great time and wanted to get up and go every day. The days were long, they said they went
fast and had lots of fun." -Kevin F

"Jordan had a total hitting analysis done with Video that measured bat speed and ball velocity
as well as hitting zone accuracy.  took like 15 swings.  each swing captured and analyzed. Dan quickly pointed out several things Jordan could improve upon in his swing as he slow down the video and did it slide by slide.  amazing stuff.. I was very impressed with it.  He has the ability to draw vectors and lines to show how the legs , arms., and entire body should be lined up and how your body is actually ending up against the standard.
Jordan watched and having video proof of his swing was priceless.. he got it right away and started working on fixing them at the cage.
Dan is very good with young kids.. very good with kids of all ages."-Don M

"The individualized coaching, personal development and group dynamics are some of the intangibles at the K-zone." -Dan M.

"Hi Dan (and Natalie),

Dave told me he emailed you the other day. He's so proud of himself! He's consistently hitting to the outfield (never did that before), or hitting the ball REAL hard. He hit one back to the pitcher a couple of weeks ago and it hurt the kid's hand!  His confidence at the plate is enormous. He got called out on strikes the other day and wasn't even upset, because he knew the ump was wrong and the ball was way outside. So, thanks so much for all your coaching, it has made a huge difference in David's whole approach. He no longer worries about striking out, and doesn't very often."-Linda

"Dan
What ever you think Carter needs is good with me. I have seen great
improvement in Carter's arm strength."-AH

"Dan,
I wanted to thank you for all the work and care you contributed to Andrew and Austin this spring.  Ending June on personal bests was great!  Both are clearly becoming better ball players and
developing a greater love baseball out of the time they have spent with you."-Dan M.
