Chris Perry, a Cary native who trains with Dan Kopitzke at the K-Zone Academy in Apex, has been named Pitcher of the Month for May in the St. Louis Cardinals’ minor league system. Chris has struck out 59 hitters in 35-2/3 innings this season for the Peoria (Illinois) Chiefs, the St. Louis Cardinals' Class A Midwest League affiliate.
Chris to Dan, on his performance this season, “Best part about it so far is I feel like I have been optimizing the athletic, mechanical and EV stuff that we have been working on and talking about.”
